On the nature of veiling of classical T Tauri stars spectra in the near-IR spectral band

It is shown that the existence of a hot accretion spot on the surface ofclassical T Tauri stars allows to explain observed veiling of theirphotospheric spectrum not only in the visible but also in the near infraredspectral band.
